1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Denny Systems website, our contact forms, email communications, service requests, customer relationships, and related services. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact information, such as your name, email address, mailing address, business name, and any telephone number you voluntarily provide.
  • Service information, including descriptions of technical issues, devices, systems, websites, accounts, and other details needed to provide or quote services.
  • Billing and transaction information, such as invoices, payment status, billing address, and limited transaction details. Payment card information is collected and processed by our payment processor; we do not intend to store complete card numbers or card security codes.
  • Website and device information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from an IP address, if collected through hosting logs, cookies, or analytics tools.
  • Communications and records, including emails, form submissions, support records, agreements, approvals, and other correspondence.
  • Credentials or access information you choose to provide when reasonably necessary for support. Please use secure methods we specify and do not send passwords through ordinary email unless instructed.

3. How we use information

We may use personal information to respond to inquiries; diagnose issues; provide, secure, maintain, and improve services; prepare estimates and invoices; process payments; manage recurring services; communicate about projects, support, renewals, or policy changes; prevent fraud and abuse; keep business and tax records; enforce agreements; and comply with law.

4. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate, including website hosting, email, Zoho forms, payment processing, accounting, security, analytics, backup, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect rights, safety, systems, or property; in connection with a merger, sale, financing, or transfer of the business; or with your direction or consent.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly sell sensitive personal data. If our practices change, we will provide disclosures and choices required by applicable law.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Our site or service providers may use essential cookies, local storage, server logs, or analytics technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, understand use, and protect against abuse. You can control many cookies through your browser, although disabling essential technologies may affect site functionality.

6. Data retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including providing services, maintaining support and transaction records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, meeting tax and accounting duties, and complying with law. Retention periods vary by record type and relationship.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet transmission, storage system, or security control is guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for using secure passwords, maintaining current backups, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access involving services we provide.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we maintain about you, or opt out of non-service marketing email, by contacting us. We will consider and respond to requests as required by applicable law and may verify your identity. Certain records may be retained where legally required or reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes.

9. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

10. Third-party services and links

Third-party services, embedded forms, payment pages, and linked websites operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information.
